About me
A warm welcome.
I am a qualified integrative-relational counsellor, offering you a confidential space where your thoughts, feelings and experiences will be met with care and respect.
People seek counselling for many different reasons and that first step of reaching out takes courage.
Areas I can support you in
Bringing awareness and understanding to unhelpful patterns to help build healthier ones.
Life transitions & identity- navigating change, self-discovery, LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming support, racial and cultural identity issues.
Relationship difficulties- which may show up as struggling to express needs or feelings, mistrust, resentment, commitment issues or struggling with intimacy and being vulnerable.
Trauma & C-PTSD- Processing past and present experiences that may include abuse, bereavement and loss.
Understanding persistent emotions and feelings, such as sadness, guilt, panic, anger, disconnection and stuckness.
Understanding and making meaning of your inner experiences on both a conscious and unconscious level.
Parts work – gently exploring and getting to know the different parts of you. This process can help you feel more grounded, more in control and more connected.
Dealing with perfectionism- which may show up as constant self-criticism, high expectations, fear of making mistakes and procrastination.
Boundary work- Learning to set and maintain healthy boundaries in relationships, work and daily life.
How I work
My aim as a counsellor is to create a safe and supportive space where you can freely explore what has been troubling you.
A space, that is yours, where you can gain a deeper self-awareness and feel empowered to develop new ways of being with yourself, others and the world. Where moments of laughter, sadness, anger and joy can all be part of the process.
I work collaboratively, ensuring you have autonomy to decide what to explore, at a pace and depth that feels comfortable for you. Everyone’s journey is unique and together we can explore what feels most important to you.
I work within an attachment-based framework that understands how early relationships and experiences form our sense of security and stability, influencing how we regulate our emotions and shape the way we connect with our selves and others.
My way of working values both your childhood experiences and your present ones.
Where helpful, I integrate creativity as a therapeutic intervention offering an alternate way to explore and process your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
This may include working with a sand tray, drawing or using postcards.
I also offer Walk and Talk therapy as an alternative or alongside traditional in-room or online sessions. In this approach, nature can become a co-counsellor- offering space, grounding and supporting moments of reflection. Some people find that walking side by side or sitting on a bench amongst nature, makes it easier to talk about what they're going through.
I see personal growth and healing not to be a linear process but consisting of ups and downs. The journey may not be an easy one, but I’ll be there alongside you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling. This means I do not work in a singular way. It enables me to adjust my approach to best suit each person’s unique circumstances.
At the heart of my practice is the relational model, which emphasises the importance of the client-counsellor relationship as a foundation for meaningful growth and change to happen.
I have supported individuals who have experienced relational trauma, loss, abuse, co-dependency, bullying, bereavement, uncertainty or challenges related to their sexual and gender identity, low self- esteem, anger issues, perfectionism, childhood abuse, depression, anxiety and relationship issues both personal and professional.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a counsellor within the NHS, supporting people of all ages, identities and backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues.
Qualifications:
- BA (Hons) degree in Integrative Relational Counselling – Middlesex University
- Level 3 Award in Counselling Skills and Theory – Kingston College
- Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills – Guildford College
I have undertaken additional training in various specialist areas. I hold certifications in:

I am committed to continuing professional development to ensure that my knowledge and skills remain relevant and up to date.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Working with parts
Working with parts means recognising that we all have various aspects to ourselves each with their own feelings, thoughts, and needs.
We'd explore them with curiosity and compassion, understanding the needs, fears and roles each one plays.
