Rachel Lackey (PG Dip., MBACP)
I work with adults, one-to-one, to improve relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, panic, anger, trauma, unwanted thoughts, loss and issues of identity, from offices in Silsden and Keighley.
I also offer outdoor therapy, which has the added benefits of nature, exercise, exploring mindfulness and tuning into your needs and responses. It can also feel less intense than talking in a room. I offer art and body-focused work too. It's led by what creates the greatest security and impact for you.
I specialize in difficulties in current and past relationships (romantic, family, friends or work). I'm experienced in working with past abuse and neglect as well as unhelpful patterns and unsatisfying relationships. I work with self-esteem, self-criticism, expectations, shame, and developing self-love and acceptance.
The main thing I offer you is the safety to explore yourself from. I work to create this by being real, understanding and nonjudgemental, holding boundaries for you and working with you to focus on your goals. I offer creative approaches, Focusing techniques, outdoor mindfulness - which are all there for you to take or leave, as you tune into what you need.
My Silsden location provides easy access from Cross Hills, Steeton, Bradley, Cononley, Sutton-in-Craven and Addingham; Keighley location is close to Bingley, Saltaire, Shipley and East Moreton.
I can support you with issues including anxiety, depression, panic, relationship issues (past and present) anger, unwanted thoughts and loss.
