About me

I have trained as an Integrative therapist through the institute of family therapy, Relate and IAPT. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families and have a specific interest in developing the communication and conflict resolution skills within relationships. I have an interest in focusing on healing past trauma and helping people to understand the impact on their present-day behaviour and how this limits their participation and enjoyment of healthy relationships

Training, qualifications & experience

I am committed to continued training. I complete a minimum of 50 hours of CPD each year. I am a member of the BACP and work with my client’s best interests at heart. I have a strong interest in working with clients who have experienced or are experiencing depression or the impacts of depression. I am trained to work with the IAPT couple counselling for depression model.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
