About me
Thank you for being here.
Taking the first step to search for a therapist can be scary. Something has led you here, whether it’s constantly feeling overwhelmed, noticing patterns or finding yourself in a place you are not sure how to get out of. Therapy can offer you a safe space to explore your deepest parts and to start your healing journey.
I am an integrative therapist, which means that I work from a variety of modalities with you in the centre. I tailor my work to the individual and take all considerations into account when deciding which ‘tools’ to utilise from my skillset. I am passionate about helping individuals to gain a better understanding of themselves to pave a brighter future and live a more fulfilling life.
My style is compassionate, warm and empathic. My work is confidential and allows you to work through trauma and childhood experiences in a safe and non-judgemental space, whether in person or online. I have a deep and varied human experience enhanced by my experiences in working with survivors of domestic abuse, childhood abuse, narcissistic abuse and coercion, workplace bullying, and more recent work with children and young people.
My Approach
I believe in working collaboratively. I want to get to know you in as much capacity as you feel safe to share. Learning about your life, your thought processes and your goals can help to build a strong understanding of how we can work together to get you on the path you were destined to walk along. Making connections between your past and present whilst putting you in the driver’s seat is how I work. I work mostly from relational psychodynamic, humanistic person-centred and cognitive behavioural modalities, but not exclusively. I hope we can work together to make you feel stronger, happier and more fulfilled.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
