About me

I am experienced BACP registered counsellor who works with adults, couples and young people at my practice in Gosbeck. I offer a safe, confidential space for individuals and couples to explore, understand and work through personal issues in a gentle and effective way which supports your journey back to wellbeing.

Online and telephone counselling is available as well as outdoor walking and talking therapy and ecotherapy.

Choose from Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp video or by phone. Which ever feels more comfortable for you I am here to help. I will also support you to make sure all your sessions are completely confidential where ever you are.

Outdoor walking and talking therapy and ecotherapy are now offered as a Covid safe alternative to working in a room and has many more benefits. Whether you want a normal counselling session outdoors or a more intensive ecotherapy experience, I have the skills and specialist training to ensure your outdoor therapy experience is effective in supporting your mental health and personal development needs. Please get in touch or visit my website to find out more about working with me in carefully chosen natural spaces.

Issues I can support clients with include;
Depression, Stress, Bereavement, Anger management, Confusion, Relationship issues, Separation and Divorce, Affairs and Betrayals, Sex addiction, Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety disorder, Panic attacks, Anxiety disorder, Health anxiety, Trauma, PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Eating disorder, Binge eating disorder, Work related stress, Major life changes, Parenting problems, Child related issues, Postnatal depression, Sexual/Domestic abuse, abuse, Family issues, Behavioural issues, Self harm, Unresolved childhood issues, Personal development, Feeling sad, Spiritual direction, Menstrual cycle awareness coaching

With over ten years of experience in the field of counselling and psychotherapy I have learned many skills to support people on their journey to wellness, personal development and spiritual growth. Whether clients need to recover from mental illness, trauma and loss or wish to improve their success in relationships or career then I can offer a bespoke approach so that each client has the freedom to work in a way which suits their individual needs. As an integrative counsellor, I work holistically by integrating different therapy theories into my practice. In my training I have developed a skills set which includes talking therapy, solution focused therapy, behavioural therapy and therapeutic art and outdoor nature based therapy.

My own life path to mental wellness and personal development has inspired me to share my findings with others so that they can enjoy the gifts which I have been given in the therapy, training and mentorship I have received. I will not judge you or try to influence you in anyway in our work together, but I will provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore your personal situation and work through issues which may be affecting your life, relationships or behaviour. I offer both long and short term therapy and will work with you at your own pace.

In our initial assessment you will have the opportunity to decide if I am able to meet your individual needs at this time.

I work with clients in Gosbeck Suffolk, via Zoom link and outdoors in the countryside for walking therapy and nature based therapy. If you would like to work with me or ask questions about my services then please get in touch via email or visit my website.

Young People aged 14 and over
Young people under the age of 16 are assessed with an accompanying parent or carer, but it is ultimately the young person who decides if they would like to work with me. I offer young people the opportunity to work through emotional issues, trauma or behavioural difficulties using therapeutic play and art, allowing the them to show me their internal world through symbolism and action rather than words.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
