About me
I’m a qualified therapist offering counselling for individuals and couples, available in person, online, or by phone.
People come to therapy for many reasons, anxiety, low mood, panic attacks, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, or relationship issues. You may feel stuck in patterns that are hard to change.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood.
In our work together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you, whether rooted in the past, playing out in the present, or linked to anxieties about the future.
Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

This list is not exhaustive or inclusive of all the issues I work with, there are many more challenges and experiences I support.
Specialisation: Trauma Therapy
In addition to my core counselling training, I have undertaken further specialist training in trauma- informed approaches and have extensive experience supporting clients affected by trauma.
Trauma can be:
Acute trauma, from a single incident (e.g. an accident, assault, or sudden loss)
Chronic trauma, from prolonged or repeated experiences (e.g. abuse, neglect, or ongoing domestic violence)
Developmental or childhood trauma, involving early relational wounds, attachment disruptions, or unmet emotional needs.
Complex trauma, which often involves multiple or layered traumatic experiences over time
Intergenerational or collective trauma, passed down through family systems or affecting communities and cultures.
Trauma can affect your mind and body in many ways -such as causing anxiety (constant worry), shame (feeling unworthy), numbness (emotional shutdown), hypervigilance (being overly alert), emotional dysregulation (difficulty controlling feelings), and challenges in relationships (trouble trusting or connecting).
These effects can last long after the traumatic events and influence how you view yourself and interact with the world.
Through careful and supportive work, we can explore how trauma has shaped your experiences and build skills to help you feel safer and more in control.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy focuses on the relationship, unlike individual therapy which centers on one person.
I help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust by identifying and changing unhelpful patterns.
Together, we foster open expression, empathy, and collaboration.
Issues I can help with;
- Communication breakdowns
- Trust and intimacy problems
- Conflict and anger management
- Emotional disconnection
- Infidelity and forgiveness
- Stress from life changes (parenting, career)
My goal is to create a safe space where both partners feel heard and supported toward a healthier relationship.
To get started, phone or email me to set up an initial free 20 minute consultation to discuss how I can help you and what you would like to get out of counselling.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
