About me
As a humanistic counsellor I am passionate about working with people from a range of backgrounds and supporting them through their difficulties at their own pace. I am genuine, friendly and empathic, always having the client's best interests at heart. I value and respect people's own perspectives and personal needs, whilst understanding how their experiences led them to seek out counselling.
I provide one to one counselling in a face to face environment and via zoom calling. The in person counselling environment is a warm and quiet place within Eastbourne, East Sussex. I give clients the time and space they need to talk about, and explore what they are struggling with.
I have multiple training experiences and generally use an integrative approach to working with clients. This entails using different methods of therapy depending on the client's individual needs. When relevant, I may include my own personal experiences which can enrich and deepen the connection between myself and the client. This can also benefit the process thereby improving the clients connection with themselves and their ability to self-reflect.
