About me

Hi I'm Marie,

I have been working in mental well-being since 2015 and have been in continuous training to develop a further understanding in therapy including somatic therapy that can help you notice how emotions, stress and past experiences can show up physically. I have completed training in neurodiversity including autism and have undertaken specialist training in online therapy, helping me provide effective and meaningful therapy online as well as in person.

I would like to offer and provide a place for you to explore your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and respect for each person's unique journey where we can work towards finding greater self-awareness, and hope to create positive changes in your life.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, which means using different types of therapy, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and humanistic approaches. I work with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, bereavement (including suicide bereavement) and everyday stress. I am committed to ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field.

From my own experience in therapy I have seen how much it has helped and I would like to share the benefits of my experiences with you to create an environment where you feel heard and understood.

I offer face-to-face and online sessions.

I know that finding the right therapist can be a challenge.  So i am happy offer you a free, no obligation 20-minute consultation via telephone to ensure we both are comfortable

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Marie
