About me
Hello, I am Marie,
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I have been training and working in mental well-being since 2015. I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a deep respect for each person's unique journey. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various modalities to tailor treatment to each client's specific needs. I often incorporate techniques from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and humanistic approaches. I work with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, bereavement (including suicide bereavement) and everyday stress. I am committed to ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship (from my own experience and journey) and strive to create an environment where clients feel heard and understood. I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and live more fulfilling lives.
I offer face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.
I know that finding the right therapist for you can be a challenge. I also offer a free, no obligation 20-minute consultation via telephone to ensure we both are comfortable
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Marie
