I am a fully qualified and experienced Chartered Psychologist, both HPC and BPS registered. My aim is to provide you with a warm, safe and confidential therapeutic environment which will enable you to explore your current difficulties. I work within the approach and framework which is tailored to your individual needs. I offer specialist Psychological assessment and therapy for a range of mental health difficulties.
We can work together towards improving both your mental and emotional well being. I am Newcastle upon Tyne based working as the joint clinical director of Newcastle Therapy - We are based in Gosforth although also accommodating Gateshead and Durham areas.
I have various experience and have worked across a range of settings such as, Primary Care, Secondary care, inpatient units, Affective disorders and Psychosis Team, Domestic Violence Units, Psychotherapy services within the NHS. I now am a specialist working in the private sector. Additionally, I work with local universities specialising in occupational health.
I Specialise in working with Depression, Trauma, Domestic abuse, Anxiety, Work related stress, Relationship difficulties, Chronic Pain, Long term conditions, Abuse, Personality disorders and many more. I currently offer individual, couple and group therapy. I have discounted rates available for students, and for low income families.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
