About me
The therapeutic process can help identify and understand what is happening in your inner world, in your relationships, your behavioural patterns and the difficulties in your experiences of the world. My approach is warm, supportive, open-minded and nourishing. I meet every client with genuine care and interest to bring a renewed sense of meaning, connection and belonging. I provide a space for you to be heard, to share where you are, what has happened to you and what you want to achieve. I believe that fundamentally we seek to know ourselves, to attune to our relationships, and to make sense of our story.
A solid evidence-based theoretical framework allows me to provide a tailored, holistic approach, including all dimensions of the client’s process – body, mind, emotion, and spirit. I work intuitively to attune to the intricacies and nuances conveyed within each session, to offer reflections and considerations for my clients. My aim is for sessions to be thought-provoking, to enable the client to challenge their own perceptions, and to confront their joys and pains. These insights provide a foundation for a stronger sense of self, more fulfilling relationships, and an expanded perspective on life. Whilst therapy can provide symptomatic relief, my hope is that it will also bring deeper awareness and sustainable progress for my clients.
I honour my work and believe that the therapeutic relationship is of central importance to outcome of the treatment. Weekly sessions provide a sense of safety and stability, creating a space for clients to share, remember and endure. I believe that it is important to learn about a client’s story, and from there, to gain a clearer understanding of their needs and anxieties.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
