About me
I have availability in my clinics across Angel, Old Street, Shoreditch, and Soho.
I am a BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist experienced at supporting clients through complex emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. I offer a warm, accepting, and confidential space for reflection. By exploring patterns of thought, feelings, and relationships, we can begin to understand the deeper roots of present struggles and open new possibilities for change.
Psychodynamic therapy explores unconscious processes and emotional patterns that shape behaviour, thoughts, and relationships. It emphasises understanding the deep, often hidden influences from past experiences, especially early childhood and family dynamics, that continue to affect individuals in their present lives. This approach can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve your relationships, manage difficult emotions more effectively, and find more authentic ways of living. It’s particularly effective for people who seek to understand themselves more deeply and address recurring patterns in their lives.
I provide short and long-term therapy for adults, both online and in-person. I offer an initial free 20-minute phone consultation. I will introduce myself and answer any questions you might have, and we can think together about whether this therapy feels right for you.
If you decide to continue, we will schedule a 60-minute assessment session. This longer session will allow us time to discuss your personal history and what has brought you to therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London.
In addition to my post-graduate qualifications, I have developed specialist expertise across a range of areas through dedicated professional training. These include eating disorders, ADHD, autism, AI-related psychological issues, menstrual cycle-related distress (including PMDD, endometriosis, PCOS, and PMS), and recovery coaching for substance use disorders.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a counsellor for Wellbeing in the Arts, an organisation that offers affordable mental health and wellbeing support to organisations, productions, and individuals across the creative industries.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), which means that I have met their training criteria, and I adhere to the highest standards of proficiency, professionalism, and ethical practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
