About me

About me

Hi, I'm Madelaine - welcome to my profile.

Are you exhausted by anxiety and can't find a way to 'switch off'? Do you have moments where everything just feels completely overwhelming? If that’s what you’re dealing with, we can look at what’s driving that exhaustion and find a way for you to feel more in control again.

My practice is built on the belief that no one knows your story better than you do. As an Integrative therapist, I actively blend different therapeutic ways of working to fit how you personally experience the world. While you are the expert on your life, I provide the grounded support and insight needed to cut through the mess and hear your own voice again. I’m here to help you face the internal conflicts that feel stuck, facilitating a way back to the clarity and solutions you haven't been able to find alone.

Creativity

Sometimes, the hardest things to talk about are the ones we can’t find words for yet. If you feel stuck or frustrated trying to explain an emotion, I welcome using creative ways to bridge that gap. This isn’t about being 'good at art'; it’s about using colours, shapes, or simple sketches to help you hear what your gut is trying to say. We might use maps or 'spider-grams' to untangle messy thoughts, helping us see the roots of a feeling when talking alone doesn't feel like enough.

How long?

We can work together for a set number of weeks, over the long term, or leave it entirely open. Whether you need a few sessions to untangle a specific issue or a more enduring space, we’ll go at your pace. Your needs might change as we go, and I’m here to adapt to whatever feels right for you.

Frequency

Sessions are 50 minutes and typically happen weekly. However, I know life doesn’t always fit a rigid schedule. I offer fortnightly slots if you need a different pace due to your budget, work, or other commitments.

Sessions can be face-to-face or online. If you are based outside of Devon, for example in London, we can of course arrange for online sessions.

Getting in touch

If you’re looking for someone to sit with you and work through the mess, I’m here to support that process. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before you begin therapy.

To book a session, or if you'd like to arrange an initial chat, you can use the 'Email me' button on this page, or call/text me on 07435 321 347.

Madelaine.
