Counselling can help you to deal with many emotions and to help express yourself in different ways, from self development to longer term in depth counselling for deeper issues. You may be intereseteed in coming to counselling for many different reasons, and I am here to listen to you. I will listen in an empathic and non-judgemental way, giving you space and time to support you and focus on your needs. I practice from Life Force Counselling Centre in Colchester. However due to the Coronavirus pandemic I am now also offering telephone and video appointments.
If you are interested in coming for counselling please contact me by phone, text message or email and I will respond as soon as I can. At the initial appointment, we will meet to see how we can work together, and if so, we will contract to further work. I can offer short or longer term counselling in a warm and safe environment.
I practice integrative counselling which means the focus is on your individual needs. I deal with relationship issues, as well as anxiety, depression, addictions and trauma. I have experience of working with a wide variety of different issues in my clinical practice. I am a registered BACP counsellor with over 5 years' experience of counselling a wide variety of clients in private practice which I am endlessly passionate about. I also enjoy working creatively with clients as I feel this is a great way of exploring and developing a client's potential for growth in any areas.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I am very interested in the connection between mind and body and working therapeutically with this.
