About me

Unlike a maze with only one path, life offers many possibilities and directions. Yet sometimes, we can feel stuck or overwhelmed. I believe counselling can be deeply beneficial, restorative, and empowering, helping us gain greater awareness and understanding of our experiences.

I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist offering therapeutic support to individuals aged 13 and over. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace.

I offer counselling for many areas of mental health that may be affecting your wellbeing- including grief and loss, low self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, stress, depression, abuse, trauma, suicidal thoughts and relationships.

Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Counselling offers the opportunity to be heard, to reflect, and to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

The person-centred approach places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the counselling process, making it essential that you find the right therapist for you.

One of the first steps toward growth and wellbeing is the ability to be truly open and honest with yourself. To support that, I offer a counselling space that is safe, confidential, and free from judgment. My role is to walk alongside you on your journey, bringing warmth, empathy, and support, and helping to create an environment in which you feel heard and valued.

I firmly believe that every individual holds the potential, value, and inner resources needed for healing and personal growth. Counselling offers the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings, consider your options, and make meaningful choices or changes.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
