About me
Hello, I’m Linda, here to walk alongside you through life’s challenges
Life isn’t always easy. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, grieving, anxious, or simply unsure of what’s next and reaching out for support can feel like a huge step. If you’re here, you’ve already taken that brave first move, and I want you to know, you don’t have to face this alone.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether you're struggling with low mood, trauma, grief, anxiety, or navigating other life challenges, I’m here to support you. Together, we will work towards the changes you’d like to see in your life.
How I work
I use a pluralistic approach, which means we’ll work collaboratively to find the therapeutic methods that feel most helpful and suited to your needs. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, you are unique, and your therapy should be too.
I have particular experience supporting people through bereavement and grief (including pet loss), trauma and difficult life experiences, autism and neurodivergence (including self-identifying clients), anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, low confidence/self-esteem struggles, relationship issues and life transitions.
I can help you build emotional safety, find grounding in the here and now, and explore deeper issues when and if you feel ready.
What to expect
Starting counselling can feel daunting, and that’s completely normal. Our first session is a gentle conversation, where you can share what’s brought you here and what you’d like from counselling. You set the pace, and I’ll walk alongside you with warmth, understanding, and respect.
I very much want you to get the support you need from the start, as I know first-hand how important this is. To help you decide if I’m the right fit for you, I offer a free 30-minute introductory chat. It’s a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if it feels right for you, with absolutely no pressure or obligation.
