About me

Remote therapy currently offered (Telephone/ Skype/ Zoom etc)

My philosophy

From time to time all of us face difficult times and situations where the usual strategies we use to cope or manage don’t work the way they once used to. It is at those times where it can be helpful to create the time to reflect alongside a supportive and experienced professional. As a Registered Counselling Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist, I am geared towards enabling individuals to maximise and draw on their internal resources to feel empowered and in control of their lives.

Trained in more than one therapeutic approach, I am able to tailor our sessions to your personal needs depending on the issues you bring and depending on what you would like to achieve. Sometimes, working this out can itself form the early stages of the therapeutic process.

Collaborative working:

I provide a confidential, non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore and unravel some of the things that may be contributing to your current difficulties, as well as identify the changes necessary in order to move towards a less distressing place, where you can begin to live your life to the full. This might involve processing some significant life experiences, understanding how your past might be affecting you now, or learning new strategies and techniques to help you in your everyday life.

Getting in touch and arranging a consultation:

If you would like to contact me please feel free to email or leave me a telephone message and I will get back to you. I am very happy to arrange to telephone you for a free informal 20 minute chat before you decide to book a consultation.

Counselling and Therapy in Richmond, Kew Village, London:

I am based in Richmond, Kew Village, easily accessible via the District Line and Overground to Kew Gardens station (2 minute walk). Kew Gardens is one stop from Richmond station, which is 15 minutes on a fast train from London Waterloo.

Format of therapy:

As well as face-to-face, depending on the outcome of our consultation and the type of therapy you would like, I am also able to offer online sessions (Webcam & Skype) and telephone sessions.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
