About me
My name is Kerry and I have a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling. I believe that every human is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. In my practice I utilise the abundance of natural environment we have locally and provide bespoke therapy packages to suit you as an individual.
I am able to call upon my knowledge of physiology and anatomy along with my understanding of a variety of talking therapies and combine these to create a way forward that encompasses both mind and body, as I believe that neither can exist or be helped in isolation from the other.
I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of life, by spending 19 years in the Military, followed by running my own personal training business for the past 11 years. My experiences in the military have given me an insight into the effects of Trauma and PTSD and the difficulties of incorporating the effects of these experiences into everyday life.
I am a qualified psychedelic integration coach and during the current expansion in the therapeutic use of and research into the effects of psychedelics, I feel that it is important for people to have experienced, understanding, trustworthy professionals they can turn to, both before and after using psychedelics. I am able to work with anyone who has taken a psychedelic in either a clinical setting, ceremony or retreat abroad or any other setting. Psychedelics are not currently legal in the UK and I do not supply them.
Compassion, humour and understanding are fundamental features of my therapy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Why is my counselling room in a field ?
My counselling room is located in the beautiful countryside near Bishopsteignton. I believe in the power of nature and how it can help us relax, reset and heal. If the weather is appropriate and you would like, we can walk around our large field and your session can take place outdoors in the natural environment. If the weather is inclement or if you would prefer, we can work inside my warm, comfortable Shepherd's Hut.
Psychedelic Integration and Preparation.
Psychedelic preparation is as important as the psychedelic journey itself, it helps prepare both mentally and physically for what will be experienced. Psycho-education can enhance a journeys usefulness by allowing an understand how psychedelics work, the effect they have on physical brain structures, how long these last and how this can assist in therapy.
Psychedelic Integration therapy is a supportive, nonjudgemental, and client centred approach that helps individuals process and make meaning from their psychedelic experiences. It is designed to help integrate the profound insights gained during a psychedelic journey, whether it took place in a clinical trial, ceremonial setting or any other context.
The main goal of integration is to assist individuals in processing their experience and introducing this new awareness into their daily lives and relationships. Integration is often considered more crucial than the psychedelic experience itself, it ensures that benefits such as reduced anxiety or depression, relational connectedness and changed thinking patterns do not fade away. Integration therapy involves revisiting the visual, somatic and emotional aspects of a psychedelic journey and gaining an understanding of their meaning and significance.
Psychedelic integration is helpful for anyone who has experienced an expanded state of consciousness.
Psychedelics are not currently legal in the UK, but I work with clients that are planning or have experienced a psychedelic journey, be that in a clinical setting, ceremonial setting abroad or individually.
I do not supply psychedelics or facilitate psychedelic journeys in the UK. I can, however recommend organisations that facilitate psychedelic retreats abroad.
