Person-Centred Counsellor & Psychotherapist BA (Hons)

About me

You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, painful relationship patterns, loss, or a lingering sense of shame or disconnection. Many people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet still feel stuck in ways that are difficult to explain. They are often looking for a space where they can slow down, feel emotionally safe, and explore their experiences without pressure or judgement.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a European-certified Person-Centred and Experiential Psychotherapist. My work is grounded in a Person-Centred, relational and trauma-informed approach, offering a calm and supportive environment where we can explore your experiences together at a pace that feels manageable.

I am also trained in Brainspotting (BSPUK), a gentle body-based approach that can help process trauma and emotionally charged experiences at a deeper level, without needing to repeatedly retell painful events.

I have experience supporting a wide range of clients, including NHS professionals and individuals navigating grief, loss, anxiety and depression. Many people come to therapy because they feel overwhelmed by difficult life experiences, relationship struggles, or long-standing patterns of self-criticism and emotional pain.

I offer therapy in English, Italian and Spanish, and often work with clients from international or multicultural backgrounds.

My aim is to create a safe and respectful space where all parts of you are welcome. Therapy is not about judgement or quick solutions, but about gently making sense of your experiences and reconnecting with your emotional world.

If you are considering counselling, you are very welcome to get in touch. I offer a complimentary initial consultation so we can talk about what brings you to therapy and see whether working together feels like a good fit for you.

You can contact me by phone or email, and I usually respond to enquiries quite quickly.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully insured counsellor with a first-class BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling from the Metanoia Institute, London. My training is grounded in the Person-Centred and Experiential tradition, which places emphasis on relational depth, emotional safety and respect for each person’s unique experience.

I am also a trained Brainspotting (BSPUK) practitioner. Brainspotting is a gentle, body-based approach that can help process trauma and emotionally charged experiences at a deeper level.

Over the past six years I have worked in a range of clinical settings. I previously worked as a stress, anxiety and trauma support counsellor at Imperial College NHS Trust, supporting NHS staff. I have also worked as a bereavement counsellor with Bereft, supporting individuals experiencing grief and loss.

Alongside my private practice, I currently work as a counsellor with secondary school students, supporting young people with emotional wellbeing, anxiety, identity and relationship challenges.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
