About me

Do you find yourself stuck in the same patterns, even when you know they’re not good for you?

You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted.

Perhaps you’re holding everything together on the outside, but inside it feels very different.

You may notice:

  • You repeat patterns in relationships;
  • You have difficulty setting boundaries or saying no;
  • Anxiety that doesn’t switch off;
  • A harsh inner voice or low self-worth;
  • Feeling “too much” or not enough.

If this resonates, there will be good reasons for it — even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

How I work:

I specialise in working with trauma and long-standing emotional patterns — particularly where things feel stuck, repetitive, or hard to change.

My core approach is Transactional Analysis (T.A.).This helps us understand how your early experiences shape the way you think, feel, and relate to others today — often outside of your awareness.

Together, we will:

  • make sense of your patterns (not just talk about them);
  • understand where they come from;
  • explore what keeps them going;
  • begin to create space for change.

What therapy with me feels like:

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and easy to talk to — but also someone who will gently challenge patterns when needed.

I won’t just sit silently or leave you to 'figure it out'; I’m actively alongside you in the process.

Depending on what feels right, we might work:

  • conversationally
  • with emotional processing
  • using creative or experiential techniques
  • with a focus on nervous system regulation and safety.

I always work at your pace — especially if you’ve experienced trauma.

What you can expect:

Over time, clients often experience:

  • greater emotional stability;
  • clearer understanding of themselves;
  • improved boundaries and relationships;
  • less anxiety and overwhelm;
  • feeling more in control, rather than reacting automatically.

About me:|

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist, with a core training in Transactional Analysis.

I have experience supporting adults with trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and low self-worth.

I work in a trauma-informed way, meaning your safety, stability, and pace are always prioritised.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

My primary training was in Transactional Analysis (T.A.), a psychotherapeutic theory that focuses on awareness and interactions with others. However, I work as an ‘integrative’ therapist, meaning I draw upon various other methods and theories depending on what is right for you and your needs.

I particularly enjoy using creative methods in therapy, as a way to 'bring the therapy to life' in a way that words often can't.

In recent years, a lot of my work has focused on enabling individuals to navigate the brave and difficult journey of healing from trauma. I hold deep respect for clients who embark on this journey, and I believe that my job as the therapist is to allow you the safety net to do this in a way that feels supported. This is often long-term work, and therefore the relationship with your therapist is key. Together, we can begin to make sense of what happened and reconnect with your sense of self.
