About me
Integrative Psychotherapist | Aston Clinton & Online
Perhaps you’ve reached a point where you’re struggling to cope, feeling disconnected from yourself, or finding that the things you’ve always managed suddenly feel much harder.
You may be experiencing anxiety or depression, struggling in a relationship, adjusting to motherhood, going through menopause, or trying to rebuild your confidence after a difficult or abusive relationship.
Whatever has brought you to therapy, you don’t have to work it out alone.
I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist with 10 years experience as a practising psychotherapist and over 22 years working within mental health. I have spent 6 years working in the NHS as a High Intensity Counsellor, supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety and other significant mental-health difficulties.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk honestly about what’s happening without feeling judged or having to pretend that everything is okay.
Areas I particularly work with
I have a particular interest in supporting people through experiences and transitions that can profoundly affect how we see ourselves and our relationships, including:
• Domestic abuse and recovery
Helping survivors rebuild confidence, understand the impact of what they’ve experienced and reconnect with themselves.
• Perinatal mental health
Supporting women through pregnancy, early motherhood, identity changes, difficult experiences of motherhood, anxiety, depression and feeling overwhelmed.
• Menopause and midlife
A space to explore the emotional, relational and psychological impact of menopause and the changes that can come with midlife.
• Relationships and couples
Helping individuals and couples understand patterns within their relationship, improve communication and work through difficulties. Where depression or anxiety is affecting a relationship, therapy can help both partners understand what is happening and how to move forward together.
How I work
I don’t believe there is one type of therapy that works for everyone.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you. Sometimes you may need practical support with what’s happening right now; at other times, it may be helpful to explore deeper patterns, relationships or past experiences.
My approach is warm, collaborative and compassionate, but also honest. I won’t tell you what you should do or give you a list of things you “ought” to change.
Instead, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening, develop greater self-awareness and help you make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you contact me.
Sometimes knowing that something needs to change is enough.
If you’re considering therapy and aren’t sure whether I’m the right therapist for you, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free initial conversation.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
