About me

Hi, I’m Julia. If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood or feeling stuck, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to face it on your own. I offer a calm, thoughtful space where we can explore what’s going on for you and work together to help you feel more in control.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, with a keen interest in relationships and ADHD. My approach is collaborative with and tailored to you — informed by therapeutic theories and models to meet your unique needs. I feel that the relationship we build together is key and can offer you space to speak freely at your own pace, without fear of judgement, while being met with curiosity and care.

I believe our relationships — past and present — shape the way we see ourselves and others. Whether you’re dealing with a recent breakup, family conflict, or recurring patterns in your connections with others, we can work together to make sense of these experiences and develop healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating.

I bring lived experience of ADHD to my practice, which means I understand how overwhelming it can feel to manage your mind in a world that doesn’t always make space for difference. Whether you come with a diagnosis, a felt sense, or an ability to relate to the experience of overwhelm, distraction, or emotional intensity at times - my experience brings extra patience, curiosity, and understanding, while honouring your unique experience.

I offer in person, online or telephone sessions. In person sessions may take place within my confidential and comfortable therapy room or you could choose to hold your session outdoors for a "walk and talk" therapy session. Walk and talk sessions come with extra benefits such as added emotional regulation through the physical movement of walking, taking in fresh air in an open space and experiencing the grounding effect of being out in nature. Many clients enjoy the "side by side" aspect of walk and talk therapy, which can feel more accessible than the prospect of being opposite each other in a static therapy room.

Please feel free to schedule in a free 15 min consultation via telephone call or drop me an email. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and support you on your journey.
