About me
Hi, I'm Josh, a BACP registered integrative psychotherapist and counsellor.
I provide a safe, supportive, engaging space where we can work together to examine the things that are troubling you. I have worked extensively with people dealing with:
- anxiety
- depression
- addiction
- relationship challenges
- low self-esteem
- loss and bereavement
- ADHD and neurodiversity
- gender and sexuality
- trauma
I’m someone who has been on their own journey of self-discovery, which has been at times painful and at times beautiful.
My approach acknowledges the impact of the past and brings awareness to the present. I'm also trained as a transformational coach which means we hold in mind the kind of life that you want to be living.
My practice is informed by my own journey with therapy and a variety of other healing modalities. I have experience with meditation, Radical Honesty, circling, ecstatic dance and other movement practices, tantra, psychedelics, 12-step recovery, spiritual practices, and embodiment. Together we will find a way of working that is supportive for you as well as offering healthy challenge and growth.
Our work will help you build resources, understand yourself better, and find new ways of being in the world. I realise that choosing a therapist can be complex and I offer a free initial session so we can discover whether we wish to work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Our first session is free and is a chance for us to discover whether we wish to work together. During this session we will discuss what is currently going on for you, what brings you to therapy, and sketch out some of the broader background of your life. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you have about me and about therapy.
