About me

Hi, I’m Jen.

Are you exhausted from holding everything together? Emotionally drained? Disconnected from yourself?

Maybe you've spent years putting everyone else's needs first, struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism or burnout?

Looking for support because you’ve noticed little things about yourself, but not enough to be ‘in crisis’?

That’s where therapy with me can help.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma and emotional overwhelm. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, sensitive and highly self-aware. They often understand why they feel the way they do, yet still find themselves stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

My integrative approach means I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into a particular model. My work is informed by Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy and somatic approaches.

Together, we may explore how past experiences continue to influence the present, understand different parts of yourself with compassion, develop a kinder relationship with your inner voice, learn practical ways to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and gently reconnect with your body's wisdom.

I offer face-to-face sessions in my calming space in Cuddington, online and telephone therapy across the UK, and Walk and Talk therapy in Delamere Forest.

Above all, my aim is to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted.

You do not need to carry it all alone.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Reaching out for therapy can often feel like the hardest step.

You don't need to be in crisis, know exactly what's wrong, or have all the right words before getting in touch. We can begin wherever you are.

I understand that finding the right therapist is an important decision, so I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions, learn more about how I work, and get a sense of whether I feel like the right fit for you. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.

If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, please feel free to get in touch. You do not need to have everything figured out before making contact.
