About me

If this is your first time on this page and we haven't met before, let me introduce myself. My name is Jasmine and I am a transpersonal and integrative psychotherapist accredited by the UKCP. I began training as a psychotherapist in my early 20s and have been seeing clients all of my adult life. I have been in private practice and running groups for over 10 years now too.

I too have been sat in front of a screen looking for a therapist myself, multiple times in my life, and over the years I have experienced many different individual and group therapies. I have changed, grown and truly have such a beautiful life from my own experience in therapy, and learnt so much from my therapists, I know I wouldn't be the therapist I am today without having walked the path myself. I have been lucky to travel the world and have had a lot of incredible experiences, and yet it was this work, of sitting in the same place on a regular basis and descending into my soul, that truly changed my life.

What am I like as a therapist? Well, my natural nature is kind, empathetic, nurturing, calming and deeply intuitive. I am also an incredible listener with a brilliant memory and strong pattern recognition so I am great at spotting cycles and repeated patterns. I won't ever rush you in your process. I will be there for you. If you are early in your therapy journey, I will make sure the therapy holds you and gives you an anchor when you can't carry yourself. I will help you feel safe and secure in your mind, body and soul. I will help you develop stability and resilience, if that's what you need. We will spend time on what the reasons you decided to start therapy were and help you through whatever they may be. I will witness you and help you feel everything that you have been scared to feel by yourself. Softly but with enough fire to help you let go of the things that are harming you. And I will reflect back to you who you are, so you feel like you know yourself and can begin to see your soul, and love yourself again.

If you have been in therapy before, or after a while of working together, you may decide you want to drop into a deeper therapy. Therapy is quite different here. It becomes a space a little like an Aladdin's cave. A space to spiral inwards and sit with archetypes, dreams, symbolism, deeper questions, the inner child, shadow work, the heart, the body, spiritual beliefs, myth work, fairy tales, goddess work, the inner marriage and what the soul is yearning for. Here we begin to use things like guided visualisation work, art work, mask work, astrology, nature, seasons, landscapes, animal medicine, dolls, cord cutting, oracle cards, flowers, music and sound, breath work, subpersonalities, energy work. As the depth of this work evolves and you truly nurse your soul, you will begin growing the most beautiful life, a life beyond your wildest dreams, from whatever the darkness may be that you have experienced. Your spirit will come to life and you will find your joy.

Whatever the cadence of therapy, I will most importantly listen with sincerity and dedication - I will listen and go over the same memories and thoughts with you so we spiral deeper and deeper until you find the gold and feel whole.

In terms of specialities, I have a special interest in nursing the soul, inner child work, family dynamics, soothing the heart, anxiety, meditation, astrology, relationship work, dark nights of the soul, fairy tales, shadow work, bringing to balance the masculine and feminine, spirituality, trauma, addiction, loneliness, grief, abuse, depression, eating disorders, nutrition, naturopathy, love addiction, myth work, transformation, dream work, neglect, shame, envy, parenting, divorce, attachment issues, communication, archetypes, purpose, meaning, friendship issues, loss and mothering the abandoned child. But know you can talk to me in confidentiality about absolutely anything. If I don't know about something I will be honest with you, but also spend time researching it in depth.

If you have read this far and are curious, what I suggest is starting with booking a free of charge 50 minute initial consultation with me here www.nursethesoul.com. This will help you experience my energy and give a snippet of how I work. Of course we can meet to speak for less time if you prefer, but I like to give the full therapeutic hour to give enough time to talk. Starting therapy can bring up a lot of emotions, I myself have cried in initial consultations, so I don't want you to feel rushed when we meet for the first time, it's important to slowly talk and give enough time so you can ask me any questions.

If you'd prefer to observe how I work from more of a distance first, I also run free groups on Monday and Wednesday evenings where you can come and experience my energy in this way, if you prefer. Just message and ask.

If you have any questions just send me an email through my website, however small your question may be I'd be happy to hear from you.
