About me
I am a qualified counsellor with over 12 years experience. I work with adults of all ages. I was trained in Person-centred counselling and believe that therapy should feel human, not clinical.
Reaching out for support is a significant and courageous step. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure of your path, I provide a safe and confidential space to explore your inner thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I walk alongside you as you uncover your own strengths and solutions. You can bring anything to our sessions without fear of judgement. There is no agenda, only what you bring. I offer acceptance and respect no matter what you're going through. I will be real with you and listen deeply with compassion and empathy. I will challenge you when needed to help you gain clarity and confidence from within.
Think of me as a guide who will offer honest feedback, practical tools and a safe space to be your real self.
Think of it as a dedicated hour that is entirely yours to be heard and understood.
What to Expect from the First Session.
During the first session I will gather information about you, your current life and how you have been feeling lately. We will discuss your hopes and expectations from counselling. The aim is to lay the groundwork for future sessions. I will also explain how I work. The most important factor is the relationship between ourselves. A connection based on trust, safety, no judgement and respect, all of which are essential for meaningful change.
Reaching out can feel like the hardest step. If you're ready, I'm here to support you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
