About me

Hello and welcome to my profile.

I'm Jacqueline and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, offering a humanistic psychotherapeutic approach, specialising in person-centred and transactional analysis psychotherapy. I work with individuals, couples and groups.

This means I can offer you counselling and therapy to suit your needs - what fits and works for you.

The start of our counselling relationship together begins here.

Working together at a pace to suit you on your issues, a new you can emerge. Counselling allows you to explore how you are feeling in a safe, confidential environment to be the real you without feeling judged, pressured or criticised.

I have interest in working with Individual and Couples with Attachment, Anxiety, Relationship, Separation & Divorce, Trauma, Bariatric Pre & Post surgery, Addiction & Mental Health (depression, panic attacks, anxiety and diagnosed conditions) as well as working with Counselling and Psychotherapy students.

I am currently working face to face and on-line (Zoom). Please get in touch to book in for your free introductory session.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I offer a free 30 minute initial session to see if you’d like to work together and get to know each other a little and to ensure we are the right fit.

Fees:-  Payable weekly in advance by BACS

Individual  - £65

Couples     - £110

Counselling Students - £55. 

Please contact me to discuss fees if you would like to request a reduced sliding scale fee. 

Counselling & Psychotherapy Students- I offer £10 per session concessions for counselling & psychotherapy students, session fees are £55 and offer weekly sessions only.

I am located in the beautiful village of Pyecombe for face to face sessions with private location, private on-site secure parking with direct access by car from A23 at Pyecombe.

Working with clients living around Burgess Hill, Hayward’s Heath, Lewes, Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Crawley and surrounding villages of Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks, Ditchling, Poynings, Patcham and Bolney.
