Supervision details
Hi,
I am accepting supervisee’s currently and can offer online and in-person integrative transpersonal humanistic supervision.
I have been in private practice for 8 years and experienced with attachment, trauma, sexual assault and bariatric - gastric sleeve pre/post operation.
I enjoy supporting newly qualified and trainee therapists as well as experienced and established practitioners with their work, professional development, self care in you are as a therapist to avoid burn out and remain working ethically and happily.
I work with a range of supervision models and concepts and believe the foundation of great supervision for you and I is the relationship we have together, our supervisory relationship. I am passionate about offering a safe, warm and nurturing environment for you to explore and gain support for you and your work.
I am a neurodivergent therapist myself and so can support you with your own ND needs.
Very often we can feel shame about ourselves and not feel good enough as therapists as this can impact us in bringing ourselves fully to supervision. I embrace the real issues therapists face and talk about it openly, giving you permission to bring yourself just as you are into our supervision space together because you are good enough.
I am a L6/7 integrative and relational TA counselling and psychotherapy tutor too so can experience and knowledge to support you in your training needs.
If you are looking for counselling group supervision I am qualified and experienced with teaching groups and offer monthly supervision and therapy groups online.
I offer bespoke corporate individual and group packages so please do get in touch to discuss this with me. This can be in person or online.
I adhere to the BACP Supervision Framework
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
