About me

Hello, I am a passionate BACP-registered counsellor, working online and face to face. Each person’s journey is unique, full of hidden paths, steep climbs and moments of stillness. I offer a calm and supportive space where we can explore at your own pace, whatever you’re carrying. Whether you're feeling lost in the fog of depression, overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating grief or facing relationship struggles, you're not alone, we can walk this together.

I have experience working with adults, young people and children, including those from neurodivergent backgrounds and the LGBTQIA+ community. I am currently studying for a Level 7 in Play therapy and Creative Practice with children and young people.I’ve supported people through many different landscapes, from anxiety and social isolation to suicidal thoughts, abuse and bereavement. My background is in creativity which, when appropriate, we use to explore and understand your internal world.

Counselling isn’t always easy, it can stir deep emotions and bring old wounds to light, but it can also be a powerful process of healing, growth and self-discovery. Sometimes I may gently challenge you, but always with care and curiosity, never judgment. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of your story and find new ways of being in the world.

I work as an integrative, assimilative therapist. Carl Rogers' Person Centred Therapy is the core of my modality. I integrate elements of Psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Creative therapy and Transactional analysis as fits my clients' needs. I am recently qualified and have two years' experience working with clients from a wide demographic. I have over 25 years experience working in arts education and bring these creative experiences into counselling work. I know life can bring struggles, and my aim is to support you therapeutically in a way that truly suits you

Training, qualifications & experience

My training is from Norwich School of art and design, Orpington College (level 2 and 3) and Westmeria College (Level 4) in therapeutic counselling. I am currently studying for a Level 7 in Play and Creative Therapy for children and young people from the School of PACT.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
