Counsellor and Psychotherapist. MSc., NCPS registered.

About me

I know many people psych themselves up for a long time before starting counselling. But starting counselling can be easy. Start by calling me for a FREE initial consultation. We will talk through whether counselling feels right for you and whether what I offer most suits your needs. If you decide to continue we will book our first session. There’s no pressure or obligation to book more sessions than you think you might need.

I offer long term or short term counselling and specialise in working with people struggling with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Childhood Abuse and Trauma
  • Depression
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Relationship Issues
  • Self Esteem
  • Self Harm
  • Stress
  • Unresolved Childhood Issues

What to expect from therapy with me

Talking with an experienced therapist who has been trained to listen, not just to what you say but to also what isn’t being said, in a safe space can help you understand yourself more and see your situation more clearly. It is about exploring what is troubling you and working at a deeper level, to uncover what is behind it, what drives it and what keeps it going. Although therapy won't solve all your problems, it can help you to make sense of things and to see things more clearly so that your issues, concerns or past will have less of an impact on your everyday life and help you live more effectively.

So, if you are feeling stuck and unsure, I am here to help. Sessions are £40, and there is no obligation to attend more sessions than you feel comfortable with. You don’t have to suffer alone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and have experience in dealing with a range of issues including, grief and bereavement, childhood and historical trauma, domestic violence, relationship issues, low self-esteem and depression.
