About me
I specialise in working with men, helping them make sense of themselves, improve their relationships, and create lasting change.
Are you feeling stuck, low, anxious, or overwhelmed? Perhaps your drive and way of relating to others is not allowing you to build relationships and perform the way you are used to or want to be in the future.
You won’t need to come in knowing what to say, or face your feelings alone.
If you feel burnt out, drifting through a life transition, dealing with redundancy, anxious about the future in an AI world, unsure of your sense of identity, or struggling with your relationships. My practice is founded on supporting you to explore what sits under these experiences and emotions, and make the changes you need in a non-directive and collaborative approach.
I offer an empathetic, warm, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings beyond the performance expected of you at work, as part of your family, or in relationships.
My role is to listen, reflect, support, and together explore what it is to be you and how you want that to change.
I am a relational therapist with a history in being an entrepreneur and working in elite sport. I saw how the pressure of performing strained relationships, brought up feelings of being less than enough, and how these feelings impacted mental health and life events.
We are frequently told to soldier on, this often leads to buried feelings of inadequacy, depression, and of not understanding how to move forward in our lives.
Before training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I started and grew a business, understanding intimately the pressure of performing, and how it shaped me then and now. As a professional tennis coach, having coached at elite tennis academies and trained both young adults and high-performing teams. I saw how difficult it was to meet and balance performance with life and relationships.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
