About me
Hello, and welcome. I am a qualified and fully accredited Integrative Child and Adolescent psychotherapist. I have over 17 years experience working with children, young people and families. I have worked therapeutically in statutory, voluntary and the private sector.
I currently work in private practice seeing a diverse range of clients, from children, to young adults and parents. I can see clients individually, as a family or as a parent child dyad.
What I offer:
Trauma treatment (EMDR, MBCT, DDP, Theraplay) with children and families whose lives have been affected by attachment difficulties, and parental mental ill health.
A parent consultation service based on therapeutic principles, to support stronger family connections, and strengthened attachment relationships.
Extensive attachment focused work with children, young people and adults whose lives, and personal identities have been shaped by early trauma, separation and loss, and who struggle with their connection to self and others.
A private practice in South East London and Canterbury, for children, teenagers, and young adults presenting with a range of emotional and psychological issues. These can include Adoption, single incident, or complex PTSD, acute anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, feelings of difference, exclusion and isolation, low self esteem, school refusal, friendship and bullying, social media and gaming addiction, ADHD, ASD related challenges, separating or divorced parents in conflict, transgender and gender identity challenges, loss and grief.
My approach:
When we are living to our full potential, life is a creative flow between us and the world we inhabit. We are in balance and able to meet life's challenges with compassion, curiosity and awareness. When we face particularly challenging times, our flow can become interrupted and blocked. This disturbs our innate inclination towards growth and fulfilment. These blocks can be from our past, or they can reside in the present. They may also take the shape of anxiety about the future. Therapy provides a space for individuals, and families to listen and hear where their interruptions reside. Together, we find a way to greater fulfilment of potential, and to the reclamation of connection to self, and other.
The therapeutic relationship sits at the heart of my approach, it is a safe space to experiment, explore and be held by non judgement and empathy. I am particularly interested in supporting children and young people to make sense of, and celebrate themselves and their identities. I offer a compassionate, neurodivergent-affirmative and LGBTQ+ inclusive approach that is attuned to the unique, and individual needs of my client.
I am also passionate about working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I stand in solidarity with all who experience racism and discrimination. I am committed to anti racist practice, and to better understanding the systemic racism and inequality that is experienced in the everyday lives of global majority children and families living in the UK.
I hold a Masters degree in Anthropology and understand therapeutic change to happen on a systemic as well as personal and individual level. I am interested in intercultural therapeutic practices, and in the intersectionality of different ideas, when supporting children and families in my care.
I am also a mandala artist, which brings together my passion for working creatively with nature, people and the community.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
