About me

Life can feel exhausting when you or your child, are struggling with difficult emotions, difficult past experiences, a recent diagnosis or health emergency. I understand what that feels like: the sense of loss, isolation and feeling lost with how to manage and be strong.

You or your child might be struggling with low mood, flashbacks, self harm or suicidal thoughts and feelings. When you feel out of control it can be hard to manage family life, intense frustration and difficult behaviours. I can help you with feeling lighter, more connected to others and confident with daily life through conversation and creativity.

I specialise in Parent/carer, and Child Supporter Counselling. I am a School Counsellor with a disability and am a mum of 2 teens who have additional & different needs. I have 6 years of Crisis Support experience, 20 years as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and 13 years as a Holistic Therapist.

All of my experience helps me to understand how you are feeling without judgement only compassion. I am flexible with the support I offer because I know life is complicated enough.

It can feel so hard to reach out for support and admit things are not ok, I offer a free 30 minute call to help you feel comfortable & understand the process.

Improving your Mental Health is one of the most effective ways to support you and your child and help bring about positive change.

It would be lovely to be able to share more with you, so I hope you will get in touch today to take advantage of the free 30 minute initial call.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
