About me
I often work with people who want to make changes to how they feel about themselves and the world around them. Moving towards awareness, developing acceptance, through compassion, and taking action to make positive change in their lives.
- You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief or are feeling lost or lack belonging in the world.
- You may be stuck in thought patterns, behaviours or impacted by challenges from your past.
- Maybe a significant life event has occurred and you are finding you are not living your life to the fullest.
I am passionate about supporting and empowering people to move through areas of restriction or suffering in their lives. Through honest, sensitive and open communication we will allow the hidden aspects of the inner world to be witnessed and integrated.
I have a wealth of experience in my field as a Humanistic Psychotherapist, a Breathwork Facilitator and Psychedelic Assisted Therapist. I combine my knowledge of body, mind and soul to create an embodied approach that supports effective change.
Over 280 million people in the world are diagnosed with depression. Each individual in these staggering numbers has complex and multilayered reasons for how they experience the world. To me this means not only that medication and many therapies aren't improving quality of life but also that lack of community, huge socio-economic divides, poverty, race, gender, class and many other reasons all impact how we as single people see ourselves and others in the environments we live in. The solutions to the issues we face may need to be as complex and varied as our experiences. Often the mind alone cannot process the challenges we face, I may discuss combining psychotherapy with conscious, connected breathwork, functional breathing guidance, legal psychedelic retreats and nature connection.
The world we live in strives for perfection, promotes unrealistic and unhealthy ideologies and can be taken to the extreme in terms of toxic positivity, generating divides in communities and an internalisation of not being 'good enough'. Struggling to cope has a bad reputation, people feel guilty or ashamed about needing support. Life can be messy, chaotic, full of feelings, including love and joy AND grief and rage, it has ups and downs. If given a container to be expressed or experienced safely those feelings can then be integrated and have less unconscious control of who we are. I encourage engaging with, being supported through and feeling the full range of the human experience to feel more whole and to live more fully.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I also work with expanded states of consciousness and integrating experiences from expanded states. This has a different language for different people.
