About me
I am an integrative therapist registered with the BACP
With a focus on compassion and nurturing the therapeutic relationship, I offer a space that is uniquely yours, giving you the opportunity to explore any challenges you may be experiencing. Whether it is depression, anxiety or ADHD that bring you to therapy , or you are seeking counselling for a loss or bereavement , a life transition such as the loss of a job or children leaving home , I am here to offer you the space to slow down and be heard.
I believe that past traumas and experiences can resurface in the present, manifesting as anxiety, depression, and difficulties in relationships. My aim is to help you process these life events in order to gain insight and meaning.
I provide a safe, compassionate, and empathic environment for individuals aged 17 and above. I am fully insured, DBS-checked, and operate within strict ethical guidelines.
As an integrative counsellor, I work collaboratively with you to find the most appropriate therapeutic approach. My primary modality is relational and person-centred. I believe that the relationship we build is key to supporting you in feeling comfortable enough to begin exploring your inner world.
I have a particular interest in childhood trauma and dissociative disorders and have undertaken additional training in this area to help adult clients navigate and process events that took place during childhood. I have extensive experience as a foster parent and understand the challenges that fostering and adoption can bring into adulthood.
I also have experience working within a charity based community mental health service. This , along with my own lived experiences of trauma and loss puts me in a position of real ,honest and genuine understanding of human suffering.
I can also help with:
- Anxiety and stress
- Abuse
- Bereavement and loss
- Low self-esteem
- Loss of meaning and purpose
- Life transitions
- Negative thoughts and feelings

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
