About me
Hi, I’m Darrel.
If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low in confidence, or weighed down by grief, stress, or relationship struggles, you don’t have to go through it on your own.
I offer a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you can talk things through without pressure or judgment. Whether you’re carrying something from the past, finding the present tough, or unsure what’s next, counselling can help you feel more in control and more like yourself again.
I’m a qualified counsellor with a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, accredited by the King’s Trust. Like everyone, I’ve had my share of life’s ups and downs, and I bring that real-life understanding into the way I work. My aim is simple: to offer the kind of support I know can really make a difference.
What to Expect
A space to be yourself
There’s no right or wrong way to show up. I’ll meet you where you are, no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. This is your time, and we go at your pace.
A flexible, human approach
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all way of working. Instead, I’ll adapt to what works best for you. Whether that’s looking at the past to understand how it’s affecting you now, finding ways to manage stress day to day, or working through patterns that keep holding you back.
Practical tools when you need them
As well as talking things through, I can share simple, useful strategies to help you feel more grounded, whether that’s managing anxiety, building confidence, or coping with life’s curveballs.
A FREE intro chat to get started
You’re welcome to book a free 30-minute call to ask questions, see how I work, and decide if I feel like the right fit for you. No pressure, just a conversation.
I offer counselling online, by phone, or face-to-face at Chapter House in West Malling. At the moment I work with adults one-to-one, and from the new year I’ll also be offering couples sessions.
Whatever your situation, we’ll find a way of working that fits around your needs.
If you’re looking for someone supportive, approachable, and focused on what matters to you, get in touch or book a free intro chat. I’m here when you’re ready.
