About me
My name is Danni and I am available to support you through life's challenges.
My practice is based in Swanley, Kent, and I also offer online counselling for those who prefer or require remote sessions.
Whether you are engaging in therapy for the first time or returning to explore something new, I will work collaboratively with you at your pace and to your agenda.
As an integrative therapist, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Depending on your needs, our work together may include:
Person-Centred Counselling - Offering a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, valued, and supported as you find your own path forward.
Psychodynamic Therapy - Exploring how your past experiences may be influencing your present, helping you gain deeper insight into recurring patterns or emotional challenges.
Cognitive Approaches - Looking at the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and developing practical strategies to help you manage difficulties and make meaningful changes.
Above all, my aim is to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply and move towards the change you want to see in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic models and tailor my approach to suit your individual needs because no two people or experiences are the same.
I am a registered member of the BACP and have a full, enhanced DBS and professional indemnity insurance. As part of my commitment to ethical practice, I undertake regular supervision and CPD training.
I have experience working with both young people and adults, and have volunteered within a mental health service and a children’s hospice. Alongside my counselling work, I am also involved in the funeral industry, where I have gained a deep understanding of grief and bereavement.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
