About me

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, providing a confidential and safe space for you to openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Together, we will identify your goals and work towards creating the fulfilling life you envision for yourself.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a variety of modalities in sessions in an effort to deliver a personally tailored treatment plan to each individual. We can concentrate on tackling current challenges, increasing your understanding of ongoing behavioral patterns, and exploring the ways your past affects your present circumstances. My goal is to help you navigate the healing process from challenging life experiences while enabling you to take charge of the future you want to create.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I prioritise offering flexible and individualised services that cater to your unique needs and circumstances. You can choose between virtual sessions, ensuring convenience and accessibility, or in-person counselling sessions in a private space in central Cambridge which is only a ten-minute walk from the train station. I also offer evening appointments to accommodate those who are not available in typical hours such as parents or those in work, as I can appreciate that counselling should be accessible to all.

I offer a free consultation via Zoom to discuss the expectations of the counselling such as the length of the course and what your goals might be. In this consultation, you will have the opportunity to get to know me a bit better and ask any questions you might have.

Both online and in person sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £50 each. Please email for further details on availability.
