About me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, working in person from my private consulting room in North London. I can also offer sessions online, if needed. I offer sessions at a frequency of one to three times per week.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of in-depth therapy which aims for a better understanding of ourselves and our inner world. It emphasises the importance of unconscious processes and past experiences. Often, difficulties we experience in our present lives go beyond the current problem and are rooted in the past. Psychotherapy's exploratory approach provides a space for important thoughts, feelings and questions to emerge at the right time.
In a space where you can speak freely and be listened to without judgement, we can think together about what is troubling you and identify unhelpful patterns or thoughts. Gaining insights into these connections can be difficult, but engaging with the psyche in this way can also bring relief and open up new ways of thinking - creating possibilities for long-lasting change.
If you would like to explore psychotherapy further, you can contact me to arrange free 20-minute introductory call. Here, we will explore how we may work together and whether psychotherapy is the right treatment for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have several years' experience as a psychotherapist. I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), and am a member of the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP) and the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
I hold a BA in Psychology from Swansea University and an MA in Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies at the University of Essex. I completed extensive post-graduate training at the SAP, a leading and internationally renowned professional body for Jungian analysts and psychotherapists.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
