About me

I create a safe, judgement-free space where you can bring your worries, share your thoughts and feelings, and be met with warmth and compassion.

Whether you're feeling anxiety or depression, have questions about your relationships or your identity, have difficult experiences in your past, are feeling lost, or want to understand yourself better, you don’t have to deal with it alone.

Together, we can explore what is happening for you and create the possibility for a deeper understanding of yourself and lasting change.

I work in a relational way, which means I want our work to feel like a collaboration. This may be your first time in therapy, or you may have had some before. Whichever is the case, you can show up exactly where you are, and we will start from there.

I offer therapy in person, online, and walking therapy/ecotherapy, which takes place in Regent's Park.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked as a therapist for a number of years, both in private practice and for various therapy services.

Training

I trained at The Minster Centre, receiving a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am in the final stages of completing advanced clinical training and a Master's degree at the same institute.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I offer a few introductory steps to get to know each other and see if I'm the right therapist for you.

A free call. This is a chance to chat through what you're looking for, and to ask any questions you might have.

A trial session. This is a taster session. It is the usual length but charged at a reduced rate. In this session, I’ll invite you to share what has brought you to therapy, what your goals are, and you can ask any questions you have about the process.

Starting. If you'd like to continue together, we would find a regular session time, either in person or online, that would work each week for you.

On my website, I have more information about how I work, and if you have any specific questions that haven't been answered yet, feel free to get in touch directly.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

The counselling room is wheelchair accessible; however, there are no disabled accessible bathrooms on the premises, so take this into account if you are considering in-person therapy with me.
