About me
Hi, I’m Chloe. I’m a qualified counsellor, trained in working with children, adults, grief, trauma, anxiety, and the general human experience of feeling like everything is quietly going wrong at once.
I have worked in schools, the NHS, hospices, and private practice. I know the theory. I know the models. I can talk about attachment, nervous systems, and why your brain is doing that thing again at 3am.
You don’t need to be fixed before you come to therapy. If you could fix yourself alone, you probably already would have.
I’m not here to give you toxic positivity or tell you to “just think differently” while wearing a reassuring cardigan.
I am here to sit with the uncomfortable stuff. The messy stuff. The stuff you are slightly ashamed of thinking, feeling, or being.
And I will absolutely not ask you to visualise a glowing white light unless you want to.
If you want perfect, polished, emotionally untouched therapy… I am not that therapist.
If you want honesty, skill, warmth, and maybe a little dark humour along the way- hello.
✨ My areas of focus include:
- Sex and relationships
- Attachment and relational difficulties
- Addiction and recovery
- Self-worth and self-esteem
- Homelessness and marginalisation
- Terminal illness and bereavement
I am also a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and I’m committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all identities and experiences.
If you’re considering therapy, I offer a free informal consultation so you can get a feel for how we might work together. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you need, just bring yourself, and we can take it from there.
📩 Ready to take the first step? Get in touch — I’d love to hear from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
