If your goal is to create balance in your life and build a better relationship with yourself, I offer a friendly and warm sanctuary to start to explore yourself in together. If you want start to feel comfortable with who you are, perhaps feel less anxious or more confident, or maybe deal with things that have been bubbling under the surface for a while in a safe and caring place, please do get in touch.
What's counselling like with me?
I work with you to offer care and understanding, empathy and psycho-education to help support you to work through the issues you're dealing with in order to build a long lasting sense of security in yourself. I offer time that is just for you, filled with safety, kindness, help and humour. Whatever you need to bring, however deep the worry, anger or sadness goes, I will be with you. I am a qualified and registered counsellor and also have an accredited psychology degree, which means we have the benefit of being able to collaborate and pull in from different ways of working to find the way that feels best for you.
My specialist areas are Low Self Esteem, Confidence and High Sensitivity, which can weave into all areas of our lives including struggles with anxiety, depression and relationships.
How would you like to work together?
I offer Face to Face sessions in Preston, Weymouth from a private and peaceful office space with parking onsite. I also am qualified to offer telephone and Zoom sessions if these would suit you, meaning we can connect in the comfort of your own home if you would prefer this.
We work out together what you would like and work in an open ended way, so you don't feel pressured and can take it at your own pace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
