About me
Working together
If your goal is to create balance, find a quiet sanctuary to explore yourself and feel comfortable with what you have to offer life (and what it has to offer you) then I might be the right counsellor for you.
What's counselling like with me?
I work with you as an individual and offer warmth and kindness as well as information and education to help support you to discover what you want your life to be. I offer time that is yours, filled with safety, kindness, information and humour. Whatever you need to bring, however deep the sadness, pain or worry goes, I will be with you. I am a qualified and registered counsellor and also have an accredited psychology degree which means we have the benefit of being able to collaborate and pull in from different areas to find the way to work that feels best for you.
How would you like to work together?
I'm offering video or phone sessions at the moment mostly, but under normal circumstances I am able to also offer face to face sessions. If you need face to face please let me know and we can discuss this.
I do not offer a set amount of sessions- instead we work out together what you would like and if you want to commit to a certain amount that's ok, and if you want to work in an open ended way that's also ok.
Contact me
If I sound like a good fit for you then please do email me and we can arrange a time to chat. I offer a free 20 minute call to talk about what you want and how we can work together. My email is sunlightcounselling20@gmail.com.
We will then find a time that suits us both to talk on the phone about what you would like and if that works we will talk about setting up our first session together.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
