About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in OCD, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, women's issues including menopause, impulse control disorders, low mood, stress, and relationship issues.
My practice is integrative, which means we might draw on several different kinds of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), depending on what best fits for you.
In therapy, what matters most is the relationship we have together. Finding the right therapist for you can feel overwhelming when there are so many to choose from. I encourage you to email to book a free 15 minute chat so that we can get a sense of how we might work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Psychological Therapies (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), an undergraduate MA in Psychology, over 9 years of experience delivering psychological therapies in the NHS, and 2 years in private practice.
I'm also a daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend and have experienced many of the ups and downs of life. It is a complicated business, and sometimes it can help to puzzle it out together.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
