About me

Therapy is an investment in yourself and your relationships. It can reveal aspects of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that you've taken for granted—like people-pleasing, overworking, or self-criticism. These patterns often emerge to serve us at different points in life but may no longer be helpful as we navigate adult relationships. Together, we'll explore these unconscious 'autopilot' behaviours and uncover the deeper patterns influencing your experience.

I see therapy as a journey of self-discovery, where you become more connected to your true needs, values, and emotions. I offer a collaborative, empathetic space for exploration—helping you understand how early relationships, family dynamics, and life events have shaped your thinking and behaviour. Through this, we bring awareness to emotional cycles and inner narratives, creating space for new perspectives and empowering change.

Rather than aiming for constant happiness, therapy with me is about learning to navigate the full range of human emotions with greater self-understanding and compassion. Together, we'll strengthen emotional resilience, challenge unhelpful patterns, and support your growth towards a more authentic, connected life.

I have been practising therapy for over ten years, currently managing my own private practice in Notting Hill. Prior to this, I gained extensive experience at Angels – Zagreb, a non-profit multidisciplinary therapy centre in Croatia, from 2011 to 2016. At Angels – Zagreb, I provided both counselling and neurotherapy (neurofeedback) to clients of all ages, supporting those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and epilepsy.

In addition to my work at Angels – Zagreb, I had the privilege of volunteering as a therapist with several organizations in Croatia. At Circles, a non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals with chronic health conditions, I provided individual therapy to clients facing a wide range of challenges. I also volunteered at the Sisters of Charity teaching hospital, assisting in multi-family group therapy sessions focused on addiction-related issues. Furthermore, I volunteered at a specialized hospital for children with neurological disorders, where I supported the mothers-babies department. This role allowed me to work with both mothers and their children, assisting them in navigating complex health challenges.

ACCREDITATION:

Maintaining high standards of practice is a top priority for me, and I take this responsibility seriously. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their rigorous code of ethics and professional standards. This includes regular personal therapy and supervision with senior clinicians, ongoing consultation with peers and other mental health experts, and a commitment to continual professional development and education.

In addition to my BACP membership, I am also accredited by the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and hold the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). The ECP is a prestigious international accreditation that reflects a high level of competence and ethical practice in psychotherapy. This certification requires rigorous training and continuous professional development, ensuring that I meet the highest standards in the field of psychotherapy across Europe.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Sometimes our issues arise or are maintained as a result of a relationship, be it a past or present relationship, or the relationship to ourselves. Many individuals or couples decide to try therapy because they want to discuss their dilemmas, uncomfortable thoughts, or they find themselves stuck. They may feel unappreciated, disconnected, misunderstood, or overwhelmed. I aim to create an attuned therapeutic relationship within which my clients feel safe and empowered to take more risks in exploring their thoughts and feelings.
