About me

Have life changes, grief, relationship difficulties, or ongoing stress left you unsure how to move forward?

Do you feel stuck in patterns that affect your relationships or sense of self?

For some people, feelings are hard to put into words; for others, coping has meant pushing on and getting through.

Maybe you’re ready to try something different, understand yourself, and gain more control. I am here for that.

My name is Ben and I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and adapt the work to you. I work with individuals, couples, and groups, offering therapy in person in Hull and online, with flexible appointments including evenings.

Therapy involves noticing patterns in relationships or family issues, communication and how you speak to yourself, patterns that often develop earlier in life and can shape how you see yourself and respond to others. By understanding where these patterns come from, it becomes easier to change the ones that no longer serve you.

I came to this work through my own experiences of therapy, mental health challenges, and loss. This shapes how I work with care, curiosity, and a genuine interest in people and our emotional world. My practice also includes supporting those impacted by suicide loss and bereavement.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to help you get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

My main therapy office is not wheelchair accessible, however, there are accessible rooms in the area that can be used at no additional cost to the client.
