About me

“A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds a space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so that you may heal yourself” – Maryam Hasna

Hello, and a Warm Welcome!

It is rare we find a space or relationship in our lives which enables us to explore and make sense of the things that trouble us. We often fear judgement, being misunderstood or that the journey will be too painful.

You may feel unable to cope with present anxieties and challenges, are feeling depressed and stuck, or have found yourself facing difficult life changing circumstances. It may be that you want to understand how your early life, traumas or relationships impact you, or that you need a safe space to voice your thoughts and explore your emotions.

How I Work?

My style is holistic and intuitive, combining different therapeutic approaches and coaching models to suit your individual needs and goals as I believe one size does not fit all! This involves joining the dots between past and present to help heal the relationship between mind, body & soul.

The collaborative relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of my work, where you can expect a confidential and supportive space to explore a range of issues. This can create space for new insights, perspectives, goals, patterns and coping strategies to emerge!

Areas of Expertise

Anxiety, Trauma, Relationships, Domestic and Sexual Violence, Self-Esteem and Confidence, The Body, Energy and Spirituality.

What's Next?

To get a sense of how we can work together I offer a free phone consultation where you can ask me any questions you may have. Following this, you have the option of arranging a session for us to gently explore what is troubling you, what you are hoping to achieve and how we might work together. There is no obligation to commit to anything following this.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

Reiki Healing

In addition to my counselling practice, I offer Reiki Healing. Reiki is a form of energy healing based on the belief that we have unseen life force energy which flows through us all, which can be stimulated to restore balance and health on all levels. Reiki clears and unblocks stagnant energies from our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Overtime, we block the flow of energy with our experiences, traumas, limiting beliefs and feelings such as fear, shame, guilt, anxiety and distrust.

Reiki is a safe and gentle hands on (or off) healing technique, which involves the practitioner using a series of hand positions and symbols on different parts of the body whilst you are fully clothed. The body enters a deep meditative state, whilst Reiki channels energy to start restorative healing, soothing and relaxation.

Please get in contact if you would like further information and for fees.

Alongside my counselling practice I currently work for a Sexual Health Service as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. I offer therapeutic support to clients who seek support around domestic abuse, trauma, sexual violence, intimacy, self-esteem, sexuality, gender identity, sexual wellbeing, emotional wellbeing, sex working, pleasure, relationships. I also have an interest and experience working with trauma, domestic violence, abuse, self-esteem, relationships, and with young/adult women.
