Becky Carter - Integrative Counsellor and Coach
Highbury and Islington
Hello, and a Warm Welcome!
It is rare we find a space or relationship in our lives which enables us to explore and make sense of the things that trouble us. We often fear judgement, being misunderstood or that the journey will be too painful.
You may feel unable to cope with present anxieties and challenges, are feeling depressed and stuck, or have found yourself facing difficult life changing circumstances. It may be that you want to understand how your early life, traumas and relationships impact you, or that you need a safe space to voice your thoughts and understand your emotions.
How I Work?
For 50 minutes each week I will completely focus on you and what you share. I will be entirely present with you in this moment, no distractions or disturbances, the space is yours.
As an Integrative Counsellor and Coach I combine different therapeutic approaches and coaching models to suit your individual needs and goals, as I value working holistically and believe one size does not fit all! I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and empowering relationship, helping you to tend to emotional wounds and gain insight and understanding. This can create space for new insights, perspectives, goals, healthier patterns and coping strategies to emerge! Most importantly, I am guided and lead by you which means you decide how to use the space and time for whatever feels important.
Finding the right counsellor for you is important, therefore to get a sense of how we can work together I offer a free phone consultation where you can ask me any questions you may have. Following this, you have the option of arranging a session for us to gently explore what is troubling you, what you are hoping to achieve and how we might work together. There is no obligation to commit to anything following this.
