About us

What is Be You Wellbeing Hub?

Be You Wellbeing Hub is a venture born from my passion to make a difference. As a trained practitioner and counsellor, I am seeing the need for more support, more availability, and more variety of services.

I have always wanted to make a difference and by difference I mean that I want people to feel happy and confident in their own skin and be able to live their best lives. Too many people are dealing with big feelings that they can’t make sense of. Too many people are diluting their personality or uniqueness due to worries about what other people think. This is why it felt important to me that the message was ‘Be Yourself’ and the services I offer will be to support you to do just that. So, it only seemed right that the company name reflected this message and that’s how Be You Wellbeing Hub was named.

Support to Be You ~ Learn to Be You ~ Connect with others and Be You ~ A place to just Be You.

What do we offer?

We offer a variety of services to help you achieve being you with the help of a team. The team is made up of like minded people, who also have a passion for wellbeing and promoting individuality and uniqueness.

Our first priority is to offer counselling and coaching to anyone who is ready to start and who has been assessed suitable for our services. I don’t want anyone of any age struggling to access support for their mental health and wellbeing. The Be You Team includes counsellors and coaches covering a variety of specialisms and areas of need, so that you can be matched with the right person for the right cost.

We are also lucky to have collaborations with a nutritionist and a menopause champion to support in other areas of wellbeing too.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
