Antigony Langley (psychotherapist, online/phone sessions during Covid-19 crisis)
I am an experienced UKCP qualified and BACP registered Integrative Transpersonal psychotherapist. We all go through times of doubt and confusion and I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which to listen and help you gain clarity. My aim is to empower you, so that you can gain confidence, as well as a sense of trust in yourself to help you to make the decisions in life which are right for you. If you are feeling anxious, depressed, self-critical, overwhelmed by pressure from work, family or relationships, or at a crossroads and need someone to talk to, then counselling can help you to make sense of things. Please feel free to get in touch and we can arrange to meet for an initial session.
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist, I draw on different approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred and the transpersonal. My practice is also informed by a system called the Enneagram, a model which helps us to understand ourselves better, as well as others.
How we can work together
We can work together to help you make the changes you need for you to grow, and transform your life, so that you can fulfil your potential.
Counselling can help to increase your self-awareness, so that you can choose to release any limiting beliefs, or patterns of behaviour from your past, in order to move towards a better future. The process is about shedding old layers to uncover your true self and realise your full potential.
I am guided by your process of growth and will work in the way that best suits you. Sometimes this may be more traditional psychotherapy and sometimes we may incorporate other elements of the work I do, according to your needs. I am happy to speak with you to explore what appeals most to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced UKCP qualified and BACP registered integrative transpersonal psychotherapist. I qualified with the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCPE) and use a range of Person Centred, Jungian Psychodynamic and Trauma-Informed techniques to help you feel more empowered, contented and improve your relationships.
I have 15+ years of experience with client work and have been in private practice since 2010. I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and work difficulties, co-dependency, bereavement, disempowerment and loss of purpose, as well as severe mental health issues and trauma (see below for full range).
In addition to this work I specialise in working with people to fulfil their potential on a spiritual and personal-growth level. I work with people in spiritual/existential crisis and those looking to discover their purpose and potential.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
I charge £50-£60 for ongoing psychotherapy/counselling (in-person or online). This is for a minimum of 8 sessions, with the opportunity to continue longer-term. I work on a short-term and/or long-term basis, depending on your needs.
Please feel free to get in touch to arrange an initial session to see if we are suited to work together.
