About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist offering a non-judgemental and confidential space in which you are invited to explore the challenges you may be facing, with support and compassion.

We all go through times of crisis, when we may feel anxious, or overwhelmed. You may be being challenged to assert your boundaries in relationships and to successfully navigate conflict. My aim is to empower you to connect to your natural gifts and strengths, whilst also to explore moving beyond any patterns which may be hindering your potential. We can maximise on any internal and/or external resources in your life (past, or present), which can help facilitate your healing.

I offer you a space in which to listen and to validate your experiences. My aim is to help you to tap into your innate capacity to heal from within.  If it's of interest, I also offer a body-based somatic approach; this can help increase your ability to manage stress and restore greater well-being, self-acceptance and intimacy with others.

You are welcome to book an initial session, to talk about what you'd like to achieve from therapy, get a sense of how I work and to see if we'd like to arrange further sessions. We can regularly review your goals to make sure that I’m offering you the best possible service to meet your needs. My approach is grounded, gentle and empowering.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a UKCP qualified and BACP registered Integrative Transpersonal psychotherapist I have been in private practice since 2010.  I draw on a range of approaches, including Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Transpersonal and Trauma-Informed.

I am currently on a Somatic Experiencing® Training, which is a body orientated approach that can gently help heal trauma. I have completed the Beginners and Intermediate levels.  I am in the final year and I am due to certify this September 2026.

My practice is also informed by a powerful psycho-spiritual map called the Enneagram, a model which helps us to increase our self-awareness and help us to understand more about the dynamics of our relationship with others.  I am a qualified Enneagram Teacher and Practitioner and an accredited member of the International Enneagram Association.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
