About me

If you are looking for a counsellor to help with Couples Counselling, Anger Management, Depression, Bereavement, Anxiety, Sex & Sexuality or Addictions, I can help you look at the issues involved and will work with you on finding solutions to your current problems. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA).

Additional training in other therapies (listed below) allows me to tailor counselling or therapy to your particular needs.

I am happy to discuss your needs and how the types of therapy I offer can help you in a 15 minute free telephone consultation.

I also offer counselling and psychotherapy via Skype for those who are geographically further away or find the convenience of it useful.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
