About me
I will listen to you with warmth and kindness, getting to know you and your experience from your point of view, without my judgement or opinion. This helps you to resolve things in your own way, at your own pace, and to move forward in life.
It's an empowering process that people use in different ways, they might find answers, insight, relief, confidence, a space to vent, or to feel understood and accepted for the first time.
You decide what to talk about and how to talk about it. This trust in you, where the therapy is completely yours without my interference or direction, is what makes this approach particularly effective, ethical, and different from other therapies.
You can ask me questions at any point, about the therapy or me, and I will answer as honestly as I can.
I hope you decide to get in touch.
Andy
------
Couples - I listen to you both as individuals and as a couple, without taking sides. As the sessions progress and things are brought up the issues find a natural resolution through this process.
Teenagers - I work the same as with adults, respecting and listening to them with full confidentiality.
Young Children - I use Play Therapy which works with the child's natural language of play to help them resolve things in their own way.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Person Centred Counselling Diploma
I have over ten years experience seeing adults, young children, teens, and couples in my home and online. I have worked in four schools, an NHS clinic, and a low-cost therapy centre. This has given me a wide range of experience with people from various backgrounds and lifestyles. I focus on how it is for you, whatever the issue might be.
