About me
Are you seeking therapy but find a traditional clinical setting doesn’t quite fit your needs? Rouse Nature Therapy invites you to be close to the outdoors, where we can connect with the healing power of nature while embracing the benefits of talking therapy.
I offer a safe and confidential space that is centred around you - your pace, your comfort, your journey. Whether walking through woodlands, tending to flower or vegetable beds, sitting quietly in a field, under shelter in my polytunnel, or resting in the familiar surroundings of your own garden, together we can create a setting that feels right for you. Here in Cornwall, nature offers endless opportunities to support reflection, release, and rest.
My approach is rooted in a humanistic, person-centred way of working. I believe that therapy is most powerful when it is grounded in honesty, empathy, and non-judgement. Through my work, I have come to value the many different ways people process, regulate, and connect. In particular, my experience with neurodivergence and mental health has shown me the importance of flexibility, compassion, and adapting therapy to suit individual needs. I also trust that nature itself has a vital role in supporting self-discovery and healing.
If this resonates with you, I warmly welcome you to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
